Breastfeeding is natural, but does not always come naturally. Maybe you had a difficult delivery, or maybe your baby is causing you pain when they nurse - whatever your struggle is, my goal is to get you breastfeeding comfortably and easily using simplified guidance on how to breastfeed for a few days to a few years.

A breastfeeding consult with me includes any of the following depending on your specific needs and goals:

  • A latch assessment that evaluates how your baby is connecting to and emptying the breast
  • Pre and post breastfeeding session weight check to see how much baby is taking in at a session
  • An evaluation of your pump and assistance trouble shooting any technical problems you may be experiencing
  • Tips and planning how to maintain breastfeeding when you return back to work
  • Strategies for talking with daycare or other child care providers
  • Education on the anatomy of breastfeeding, establishing and maintaining your supply, how to position your baby at the breast, how to know when to feed and how to know your baby is finished, how to know your baby is getting enough, pumping, bottle feeding and more!
  • Referrals as necessary

  • POSTPARTUM DOULA SUPPORT

    Support a healthy transition with postpartum doula support at +$25/hour

  • BREASTPUMP RENTAL

    If you will need a hospital grade pump, I offer the Medela Symphony hospital grade pumps for rental.  I also have baby scales available to rent.

COST: $125 for an initial consult; $75 for each follow up session, if necessary.
