A birth doula is a trained and experienced labor companion who provides a woman and her support team continuous physical comfort, emotional support and assistance in obtaining information before, during, and just after childbirth.

  • 2 prenatal visits where we go over your health history, personalized comfort techniques, and birth and postpartum preferences
  • Unlimited call, email and text support
  • Continuous labor support at home and in-hospital, if applicable

  • Access to my lending library which includes books, birth balls, a TENS unit, and more
  • One postpartum visit to process your birth, check in with your recovery, and offer guidance on life with a newborn

"Hidayah is amazing!! She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, a calming presence, and truly an indispensable force to have at your side for your birthing journey. At our prenatal visits, she calmly explained the purpose of the comfort exercises and made sure not to move on from each activity (putting together a birth plan, talking through concerns, etc.) While all the COVID-19 updates were going on, she stayed up to date with the changes and let us know what we could expect in terms of if and how she'd be present at our birth at our hospital of choice. She checked in with us after each and every doctor's appointment. When it came time for our birth, she quickly got back to us and got to us quickly to labor with us at our home. She was great at keeping us calm and giving us pep talks throughout my 36~ hours of labor, and when we got to the hospital she was so helpful in working with the midwives and nurses to make sure my husband, our baby, and I were comfortable and supported the entire time until baby arrived. Every single person at the hospital wanted us to let her know they loved working with her and that she was "one of the best doulas they've ever worked with" and they told us if we have another kid to definitely bring her back ☺️☺️☺️ please PLEASE don't hesitate to consider having Hidayah with you throughout your birth journey! You will be so so glad you did."

"Hidayah was truly a blessing throughout my pregnancy. She was always there to answer my millions of questions and never made me feel silly for asking. She was incredibly supportive and receptive as to what I wanted for my labor and delivery. When it came time to deliver my daughter Hidayah was just amazing. She talked me through everything. She reminded me that my body was capable of giving birth to my daughter and she helped me remain calm. I also loved that she was able to help my husband find his place in the process.

"My husband and my mum are overseas and couldn't be in the states for my delivery , so a doula was a must. She came to my house when I requested , we did a lot of exercises for my comfort and to ease the delivery. I texted anytime when I had a concern and she responded promptly...She was comforting whenever I had a contraction, used the ball, and attended the whole process relieving my stress...she stayed for a few hours after delivery until I was settled in the postpartum ward...she made these cute footprints for my baby...after 2 weeks she came to my house for a postpartum visit where she answered all my concerns and gave me a beautiful gift for the baby and I.
